Saved preparation projects
Your preparation checklist, project details, answers and edit history are stored in this browser on this device. They are not synced to an account or uploaded as documents. Other people using the same browser profile can see this saved progress. Clearing this site's browser data removes it.
If device storage is unavailable, the checklist warns you that changes remain only in the open page and may be lost when you close or refresh it. Looking up official research sends the selected jurisdiction and project type to PermitSide; preparation notes and checklist answers are not included in that lookup.
Downloaded project packets
A packet is created in your browser using your saved project scope and current public research. Your scope is not uploaded to create it. The downloaded file remains wherever you save it and does not update automatically. It can contain details about your project; choose who you share it with.
Beta requests
When you request beta access, PermitSide stores the email address and any company, role, project volume, location, project type, or note you choose to provide. We use this information to evaluate demand, prioritize coverage, and contact you about the PermitSide beta.
Aggregate service analytics
PermitSide counts homepage views, coverage selections, available research previews, public-guide views, guide-to-beta clicks, and successful beta requests so we can understand whether the service is useful. These counts are combined by day. Coverage and guide counts may include the selected jurisdiction and project type.
PermitSide does not use analytics cookies or visitor identifiers and does not store IP addresses, raw user-agent strings, or individual browsing histories for these measurements. The counts are first-party and are not sent to an outside analytics provider.
Paid packet orders
If a paid packet is offered, checkout takes place on Stripe. PermitSide stores the order number, selected location and project type, quoted price, payment and refund status, payment-provider identifiers, customer email from checkout, and a fixed copy of the purchased research. PermitSide does not receive your card number. Your browser stores a private order-access key so you can retrieve the packet on this device. Clearing site data removes that key; contact support with the order number for help recovering access. Order records are retained for fulfillment, support and transaction reconciliation. The free beta does not require a purchase.
Sharing and retention
PermitSide does not sell beta-request information. Access is limited to operating the beta. We retain requests while evaluating and running the beta, and remove them when they are no longer needed.
Your choices
A beta request does not create a paid subscription. To ask us to stop contacting you or delete a beta request, email contact@optivasolutions.com. You can also use this address for beta support.
Service data
The current beta does not create customer accounts or collect payment-card information. Official-source links and permit research may be viewed without submitting the form.
